Banks will close for five days again in March

New Delhi: Banks will close for five days again in March Their demands have not yet been agreed, and they are likely to go on a three-day strike in March.  Due to this, banks are likely to remain closed for five days in the second week of March. The Bank Employee Federation of India (BeFi) and the All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) have stated in this connection that if our demands are not accepted then the employees of the government banks will go on strike within 3 days from 3 to 4 March.  March 2 is the second Saturday and March 7 is the Sunday.

This will allow banks to remain closed for five consecutive days. The major demands of these bank employees are about salary restructuring. Their salaries should be restored every five years. Last time the salary was restructured in 1. It was supposed to be in the 5th, but it had not happened yet.  He also demanded that there be a weekly leave for two days a week.
